也许这是Williams最难找的配乐之一了，然而，07年比利时的Prometheus音像为了纪念Robert Altman，发行了2000张的限量版，终于使该配乐有机会与广大乐迷见面。与Williams的早期作品《The Long Goodbye》（导演同样是Robert Altman）一道，《Image》是Williams对电影配乐形态的又一次试验。在The Long Goodbye中，全片的配乐就是编配不同的主题歌；而在Image中，Williams又引入了前卫音乐，与Stomu Yamash'ta（山下勉）一道，为听众提供了一次奇妙的听觉体验。这不禁让我再次想起以试验著称的 Jerry Goldsmith，可怜的 Jerry 已经离开我们三年了。
