性手枪（Sex Pistols）是英国最有影响的朋克摇滚乐队之一，虽然他们存在的时间非常短。
虽然性手枪乐队只存在了短短2年，但其与世界彻底的决裂和完全的自我毁灭的PUNK革命精神创造了摇滚乐最危险的历史。1977年5月，A&M公司为他们推出单曲《上帝挽救了女皇》，在5天内取得了十万张的销量并且获得排行榜亚军。此后推出的《没有未来》《迷人的可爱》和《阳光假日》亦销量不错及连登排行榜，尤其是《没有未来》几乎成为所有朋克人民的呼吁口号。
而世界各地的乐队(无论是否朋克乐队)也纷纷翻唱他们的作品。
在日本，1992年2月21日由EXTASY RECORDS发行的《EXTASY SUMMIT '91 AT NIPPON BUDOUKAN》的VIDEO中，各年轻乐队组成的“无敌Band”在最后演奏了《Anachy in the UK》，在1993年5月10日发行的《我们无名，但是我们无敌... EXTASY SUMMIT 1992》中，他们演奏了《God save the queen》和《Anachy in the UK》。
